
A Wilmington man has been arrested in connection with multiple armed robberies reported in Wilmington.
Quinton Jamir Hall, 28, was arrested Thursday afternoon on Market Street by the U.S. Marshals Service, according to Wilmington Police Department Spokeswoman Linda Rawley. He has been charged with four counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and four counts of possession of a firearm by a felon.
Hall has been charged in connection with multiple armed robberies that have recently occurred in the Wilmington area, Rawley said. Wilmington detectives have tied the suspect to several armed robberies including a robbery at Han-Dee Hugo in the 4100 block of Oleander Drive on Sept. 17; Han-Dee Hugo at 425 N. College Road on Sept. 19; and the Scotchman in the 900 block of Third Street on Sept 22.
According to the N.C. Department of Corrections, Hall was previously convicted of 13 felonies, including breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, larceny over $1,000, possession of a firearm by a felon, receiving or possessing a firearm and possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a schedule VI controlled substance.
Hall was booked at the New Hanover County Jail under a $500,000 secured bond.
