UNC-Wilmington officials are seeking public input on the search for a new chancellor.
The recently appointed chancellor search committee sponsors two forums–one for the campus and another for the community at large–this Thursday in McNeill Hall’s multipurpose room 1051.
The campus forum runs from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by the community forum from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Parking will be available in the nearby parking deck.
The committee is looking for a replacement for Gary Miller, who announced his resignation in June.
Asheville resident Dr. William Sederburg, a former Michigan state senator and university president, was named interim chancellor on Aug. 1. From the onset, Sederburg has said he will not be a candidate for the permanent position.
Those who are unable to attend the chancellor search forums may submit comments and questions to [email protected].
