No one was injured in a shooting reported Tuesday night on Nun Street about three hours after a 26-year-old man was fatally shot a few blocks away at Ninth and Orange streets.
According to Wilmington Police Department Spokeswoman Cathryn Lindsay, police responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 700 block of Nun Street at 8:08 p.m. Tuesday.
A 63-year-old woman was inside the home at the time of the shooting, but she was not injured. The home, two vehicles and a fence were struck by bullets, Lindsay said.
Police found 30 shell casings in the area from three different caliber weapons–7.62, .40 and .45, Lindsay said.
The shots fired call came just hours after a fatal shooting was reported at 122 S. Ninth St., where Martineze Vaughn died from multiple gunshot wounds.

The investigation is ongoing.
