A wreck involving a motorcycle has closed one of the westbound lanes on the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge.

The wreck was reported by the Wilmington Police Department at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Traffic is said to be moving slow through the area.
At least one motorcyclist has been injured, according to the police department.
The N.C. Department of Transportation’s traffic alert system indicates lane closures were already in place on the bridge. The left lane in each direction was scheduled to be closed to traffic.
