Detectives with the Wilmington Police Department have charged three men in connection with the robbery of PNC Bank on South 17th Street Thursday morning.
Robert Houston Ward, 39, Warnie Dean Jones, 35, and Brandice Charles Ward, 38, were arrested Friday and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, according to police spokeswoman Linda Rawley.
“While they did not show a weapon, they threatened to use one,” Rawley said.

Officers responded to PNC Bank at 2015 S.17th St. at 10:45 a.m. Thursday in reference to a reported robbery. Two suspects entered the business and one passed a note to a bank teller demanding money, Rawley said.
The teller gave the suspect the money and both men fled the area on foot, traveling north near the businesses on South 17th Street.
