Wilmington police are investigating multiple break-ins to vehicles over a 24-hour period in several Wilmington neighborhoods.
Officers responded to 10 reported vehicle break-ins Aug. 10-11, according to police spokeswoman Linda Rawley. Break-ins were reported on Bragg Drive, Breezewood Drive, Quail Court, Mockingbird Lane, Grey Oaks Court and Parkwood Drive.
The peak time for the thefts was 1-4 a.m., Rawley said. The suspects took electronic and GPS devices from the vehicles. The break-ins occurred in parking lots and open areas. Many of the vehicles were unlocked or unsecured.
