U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Diligence will be closed for tours due to a prolonged maintenance period.
Additionally, the Diligence pier will be periodically closed to foot traffic to facilitate the maintenance and to ensure public safety, according to Lt. j.g. Ted Borny.
Scheduled maintenance periods are necessary in order to keep Diligence fully operational, Borny said.
Public tours will resume in late April following the conclusion of maintenance.
