Police search for man who robbed pawn shop, stolen gun

Officers with the Wilmington Police Department are searching for a man who stole a gun from a local pawn shop.

According to Wilmington Police Department Cpl. Kevin Smith, just before 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, a man walked into Jim’s Pawn and Gun at 4212 Oleander Drive, took a rifle from a shelf, placed it inside a black soft gun case and left.

“The rifle in question is a FN PS90 Carbine 5.7x28mm, serial number FN080882,” Smith said.
