BURGAW — Deputies with the Pender County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Friday on five sex offense charges.
According to Pender County Sheriff’s Office Detective Sgt. John Leatherwood, deputies arrested Cheyne Martin Potrafka, 29, of Burgaw, on Friday, Jan. 18.
Potrafka has been charged with two counts of first-degree statutory sex offense of a child, one count of indecent liberties with a child, and two counts of crimes against nature.
Potrafka is being held at the Pender County Jail under a $1.05 million secured bond.
