Cameron Art Museum, Wilmington Ballet Co. and the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center have partnered to bring the Festival of Trees to its new location at the Cameron Art Museum.
In addition, the Nutcracker Ballet will continue last year’s success at the Minnie Evans Performing Arts Center. These memorable, family events are the perfect way to kick off the holiday celebration, event organizers said.
The 25-plus year historic Festival of Trees will include 25 sponsored trees on display at the Cameron Art Museum.
The Festival of Trees begins Saturday, Nov. 24, and continues through Sunday, Dec. 2.
Festival hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Nov. 24; 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Nov. 25-28; 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Nov.29-Dec. 1; and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Dec. 2. The festival will closed Monday, Nov. 26.
Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here. Online ticket purchases carry a $1.50 convenience fee. Tickets can also be purchased in person at any Learning Express location with no additional fee. Learning Express stores are located at 1437 Military Cutoff Road in Wilmington and at 3804 Oleander Drive (next to Whole Foods) in Wilmington.
Nutcracker Ballet
The Wilmington Ballet Co. will perform the Nutcracker Ballet at the Minnie Evans Performing Arts Center on the campus of Ashley High School Dec. 1-2.
Event organizers said the performances are the area’s only full-length, traditional production of the Nutcracker.
