Wilmington Police are searching for two men who shot a man as they fled from an armed robbery Wednesday.
Wilmington Police Department Spokeswoman Lucy Crockett said a man and woman reported being robbed at gunpoint in the 600 block of Castle Street. When the two suspects fled westbound down Castle Street, they shot a man in the torso as he tried to stop them. The robbery victims took the man with the gunshot wounds to an EMS vehicle nearby, Crockett said.
Both suspects are described as having a medium build. One suspect is about 5-feet-8-inches tall and the other is about 6-feet tall. The suspects were wearing all black.
