The outer outbound travel lane of Market Street between Marsh Oaks Drive and Sweetwater Drive will be closed for about six to eight hours today, according to a notice from the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority, which is conducting utility work there.
“Traffic will be shifted to one lane in this area to accommodate utility work crews and establish a safe work zone,” the authority’s notice states. Drivers in the area are advised to use extra caution.
