Monday, March 23
The Wilmington City Council will hold an agenda review at 8:30 a.m. in the Skyline Center, 929 N. Front St. Meetings are livestreamed here.
The Kure Beach Board of Adjustment will host a meeting at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers. Meetings are uploaded here. The agenda includes:
- The appointment of the Chair and Vice Chair

- Approval of BOA annual report
The New Hanover County Board of Elections will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. in room 155 at the New Hanover County Government Center, 230 Government Center Dr. The board will enter closed session to conduct personnel matters in accordance with North Carolina General Statute § 143-318.11(a)(6), and to conduct such other business as may be necessary. The Belville Board of Commissioners will host a regular meeting at 6 p.m. in the NC State Highway Patrol. The agenda includes:
- Public hearing on open burning
- Resolution adopting southeastern North Carolina Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan
- Update on Belville Riverwalk
- Resolution by the Belville Board of Commissioners Directing the Town Clerk to investigate a petition for annexation

The Leland Planning Board will meet at 6 p.m. at the Leland Town Hall. The agenda includes review and consideration of an initial zoning request tied to an annexation petition for a mixed use development on 150 acres off of Highway 74/76. The North Carolina State Ports Authority Board of Directors will meet at 9 a.m. The meeting will take place in the Board Room of the North Carolina Maritime Building 2202 Burnett Boulevard. Members of the public may join in person; an agenda was not posted by press.
