WILMINGTON — As the most read stories of 2025 continue to be counted down at Port City Daily, coming in the number three spot is an entertainment complex planned for Oleander Drive.

Strikes will be a 40,000-square-foot entertainment venue, featuring a 10-lane bowling alley, traditional arcade, shuffleboard, soft darts, axe throwing, table tennis, corn hole and six outdoor pickleball courts, multi-sports simulator, foosball, eight lanes of duckpin bowling, pool tables, and ice hockey. There also will be a bar and restaurant onsite.

City council passed the rezoning of 6 acres at 5601 Oleander Dr. to make way for the complex, which is being built by Strikes LLC. It will be located near Casey’s Buffet and connects to the city’s River to the Sea Bikeway.
