WILMINGTON — Annually, the YMCA of Southeastern North Carolina and the City of Wilmington open Legion Stadium Pool for one final weekend … but only for the dogs.
The annual Pooch Plunge takes place Sept. 8-13 for $5 per pup. No registration is needed and all dogs must be current on vaccines to participate. Cash only is accepted.
No aggressive dogs are allowed and all animals onsite must follow dog park rules. Owners are responsible for their pets’ behaviors.
Only dogs will be allowed in the pool, not humans per health department rules.
