In North Topsail Beach, it’s called the Shrimp Dip — and in 2025, the Rotary Club of Sneads Ferry is welcome plungers to beach access #31 on Jan. 1 at 10 a.m. with the dip happening at noon. The access is located across from Beach Bum’s Bar and Grill — 4030 Island Drive — which will be the afterparty location.
All day-of donations and funds raised from selling T-shirts will be donated to Down Syndrome Network of Onslow and Carteret counties.
The Rotary Club of Sneads Ferry participates in service projects that benefit the local community and meets on Wednesdays at Madison’s.
