Ashley 2 Hoggard 0
Ashley moved above the .500 mark and remains tied for second place in the conference as the Screaming Eagles picked up a 2-0 shutout against Hoggard on Thursday.
Durwin Hamilton put Ashley in front at the 20-minute mark and played with a one-man advantage through the second half as a straight red card forced the Vikings to compete with only 10 players.
The Screaming Eagles used the opportunity to build a two-goal cushion as sophomore striker Duenis Aviola notched a score to put the game out of reach.
The win improved Ashley’s conference mark to 5-2 and 7-6-1 overall. Hoggard fell to 4-3 in conference and 6-5-1 overall.
