After jumping out to a 2-0 lead off back-to-back round-trippers by Collin Thacker and Shane Shepard, William Noxon went deep and Post 10 held strong over the final six innings of play for the 4-1 win.  Cory Everett homered in the sixth for the insurance run.

In game two, the visitors from the Port City jumped on Jacksonville early and cruised to a 12-1 victory. Shepard went deep for the second time in as many games and Trey Croom put one into orbit.

Wilmington’s staff has allowed just three runs over the last 19 innings pitched. Following a combined one-hit performance by Brandon Boone and Brad Pennington in a weekend win. On Monday, Tyree Johnson fanned 14 in a complete game and Donovan Francis was hitless through 4.1 innings pitch.

Post 10 returns home to Legion Stadium for a date with Hampstead Post 167 on Thursday to wrap up the regular season.
