The Pleasure Island Athletic Committee is bringing baseball back to the beach.
The Pleasure Island Youth Baseball, affiliated with Cal Ripken Baseball, will offer leagues for players 4-12 years old, including tee-ball, machine pitch and kid pitch.
Early registration will be Jan. 15-Feb. 16. The cost is $50 per player. Registration between Feb. 17 and March 3 will be $60 per player. Registration ends March 3, and opening day will be April 6.
Registration forms and fees can be dropped off at the Carolina Beach Recreation Center during normal business hours.

Interested players can also register at Mike Chappell Park on weekends during the registration period from 10 a.m. until noon.
