
WILMINGTON — On Friday, Jan. 5, a nationwide recall was placed on 133,039 pounds of Parkview ready-to-eat turkey kielbasa, primarily sold in Aldi The contaminated product was reported to contain pieces of bone in it.
Parkview, a Salm Partners brand, is sold in Aldi grocery stores across the country. The product has since been pulled from shelves.
Customers should dispose of or return any Parkview turkey kielbasa with sell-by dates of Apr. 24, 2024 or Apr. 27, 2024. The 13.7-ounce packages are marked with the recall bear establishment number P-3200.
The recall was issued due to customer complaints to both Salm Partners and the USDA’s Food and Safety Inspection Service. One of these reports resulted in a minor oral injury.
