WILMINGTON — Community musicians will join music faculty at Cape Fear Community College this month for a free concert.

The annual Faculty and Friends Concert will take place at Union Station Auditorium (502 N. Front St.) on CFCC’s campus on Monday, March 16, 7 p.m. in the Union Station Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.

It will showcase a diverse selection of classical, jazz, and folk music, while highlighting collaboration, creativity, and the shared love of music.

“This concert is a great opportunity for our community to experience the exceptional musicianship of our faculty and friends,” Philip Singleton, commercial, fine, and performing arts department chair, said in a release. “We are proud to offer this free performance each year and to continue making meaningful connections through the arts.”

There is no cost to attend and tickets are not required.
