
WILMINGTON — Portland-based American indie rock outfit Modest Mouse is making its Greenfield Lake Amphitheater debut this summer.
Modest Mouse is performing in Wilmington on June 9, as part of its spring tour, to wrap at Bonnaroo on June 14.
The six-member group, led by Isaac Brock, have been around the alternative music scene since 1993, with a varied lineup of musicians joining them throughout the years, including co-founders Jeremiah Green (who passed away in 2023) and Eric Judy. The band has released seven studio albums and is best known for their 2004 release “Good News for People Who Love Bad News,” which included the popular hit “Float On.” Now made up of Brock, Tom Peloso, Russell Higbee, Ben Massarella, Simon O’Connor and Damon Cox, the group last released an album, “The Golden Casket,” in 2021.
