WILMINGTON — Two individuals suffered non-life-threatening conditions over the weekend.
At 10:40 a.m. on Sunday, Wilmington Police Departments responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the 1400 block of Meares Street. Upon arrival, two victims were located with gunshot injuries and transported to Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
The shooting is currently under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact WPD by calling 910-343-3609 or using the anonymous Tip411 app.
