Crust opened this week. Co-owners Emily Luther, and husband and wife team Brian Di Giorgi and Stacey McPherson have been manning the front of the house, kitchen and bar respectively.
Sitting in Crust’s dining room and outdoor patio you’ll hear an assortment of 90s musical classics. Like the lyrics that decorate the dining room walls, selection range from Nirvana to Tupac, with plenty in between.
At the bar, you might notice a similar theme running through McPherson’s cocktail selection, with nods to Guns N’ Roses (“Welcome to the Jungle”), Snoop Dogg (“Gin and Juice”), Prince (“Raspberry Beret”), and The Presidents of the United States of America (millions of “Peaches”).
In the kitchen, Di Giorgi has been hard at work, turning out hand-cut, Belgian-style fries and grilled cheeses that capture the spirit of everything from buffalo wings to a meatloaf dinner. And, of course, there’s a straight-up grilled cheese with cheddar, muenster, brie and swiss cheeses and a number of add-ons, including the popular bacon jam.
Crust Kitchen and Cocktails is located at 124 Princess St. The restaurant is open 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily, closed on Sundays. For more information, visit Crust’s Facebook Page here.
