NEW HANOVER COUNTY — Summer is right around the corner, which means it is almost time for the Airlie Gardens summer concert series.

The concert season will begin Friday, May 18 with reggae from Signal Fire and then continue the traditional schedule of the first and third Fridays of the month between June and September.

Tickets are $9 for adults and $2 for kids under 12.

Airlie’s Summer Concert Series has grown to become a staple of summer fun in New Hanover County. According to New Hanover County Parks and Gardens Director Tara Duckworth, “Every year the concert series grows, proving to us that families still value spreading out a blanket, enjoying a picnic, and listening to good music on a summer night. So let the countdown begin!”
