BRUNSWICK COUNTY—To round out school closures in the area, Brunswick County Schools have announced they will remain closed Friday.
Many public school systems in the Cape Fear region have announced closures on Friday, Jan. 5, including New Hanover and Pender Counties.
Brunswick County Schools spokeswoman Leslie Tubb predicts the schools are anticipated to reopen Monday, Jan. 8. Tubb said an announcement as to Monday’s status would be made no later than 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7.
