Domino’s delivery driver robbed by two gunmen on Billmark Drive

 

MONKEY JUNCTION — Detectives with the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office are seeking information that could led to the arrests of two men who reportedly robbed a Domino’s Pizza delivery driver in a Monkey Junction neighborhood on Tuesday.

The victim went to deliver a pizza in the 700 block of Billmark Drive at about 11:30 p.m., when to men appeared from behind the bushes and robbed the driver at gunpoint, according to sheriff’s office spokesman Lt. Jerry Brewer.

“The robbers displayed a black handgun and demanded money,” Brewer said in a news release on Thursday. “The robbers then instructed the delivery driver to turn around and leave.”

The two men made off with the delivery driver’s cash. The victim left the area and called 911 for help.
