BRUNSWICK COUNTY — A 71-year-old man pleaded guilty in Brunswick County Superior Court on Wednesday and was sentenced to more than seven years in prison for a sex offense and a heroin charge.
Willie Anderson Dock Jr., of Boiling Spring Lakes, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to sell heroin and first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, according to a news release from District Attorney Jon David on Thursday.
From the summer of 2015, up to his arrest on Dec. 7, 2016, Dock brokered out of state heroin purchases from as far away as Georgia and used various women to smuggle the drugs across state lines.
Dock was also arrested in late January, originally charged with several felony sex offenses, including human trafficking of a child victim. Dock was also engaged in sexual activity with the women in exchange for heroin. On one occasion, in Brunswick, Georgia, he produced a cell phone video of himself and with a 17-year-old girl, who at the time was transporting drugs for him back to North Carolina.

In January, Dock was indicted on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy, conspire to sell and deliver heroin, selling or delivering heroin, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver heroin, and conspiracy to sell or deliver heroin. He was also indicted on charge of trafficking heroin and conspiracy to traffic in heroin in August.
Dock has been previously convicted twice of escaping from prison and has additional convictions for cocaine distribution, hallucinogen trafficking, robbery and using a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.
Dock was sentenced as a habitual felon and was ordered to serve 87-117 months in the N.C. Department of Corrections. He is required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. Assistant District Attorney Chris Thomas prosecuted the case for the state. Attorney Richard Parrotte represented Dock in the case. The case was investigated by the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office.
