OAK ISLAND — Theresa Ann White, a loving mother, sister, friend, and cherished member of her family, passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 69.
She loved deeply and cared greatly about the people in her life. Her family and friends meant so much to her, and many of those friendships became like family.
She is survived by her daughters, Stormy Hulsey and Karida Hulsey, who will carry her love and memories with them always. She was also the mother of Dustin Hulsey, who passed away at the young age of 19 in a tragic car accident.
She is also survived by her sisters, Diana Triplett, June Hudgens, and Mamie White, along with extended family and many friends who loved her dearly.
Theresa’s friends held a very special place in her heart. She treasured the people who stood beside her, shared laughter and memories with her, and became family along the way. Among those especially close to her were Jeff Reinhardt, whom she loved like a son, as well as Hilda, Christy, Scottie, and many other dear friends.
Her memory will live on through her daughters, her family, her friends, and everyone whose life she touched.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Theresa’s life will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 12:00 noon at The Lazy Turtle, 601 Ocean Drive in Oak Island, NC 28465.
Family and friends are invited to come together to share memories, stories, laughter, and love as we celebrate Theresa’s life. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in our hearts.
