WILMINGTON — Sarah White Hill, 98, of Wilmington, NC passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 27, 2026. Mrs. Hill was born on September 19, 1927 in Iredell County, NC to Flake and Ethel White. She graduated from Union Grove School in 1946 and was married to Uba W. Hill who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her two children, Ron Hill (Carla) of Wappingers Falls, NY and Sheila Eaddy (Dan) of Wilmington, NC; four grandchildren, Michael Hill, Erin Johnson, Daniel Eaddy (Whitney), and Stephen Eaddy (Kristin); and seven great-grandchildren, Alexia Hill, Charlie Johnson, Becca Johnson, Anna Eaddy, Ben Eaddy, Layton Eaddy, and Sutton Eaddy. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her twin sister, Margaret White Howard, of Union Grove, NC.
The family would like to extend special thanks to those who cared for Sarah in her home. A graveside service will be held at a later time in Harmony, NC.
