BURGAW — Pamela Gail Goff Maloney, age 63, a caring, sharing lady passed from her earthly life Monday, July 20, 2026.
Pamela “Pam” Gail Goff Maloney was born February 28, 1963 in Davidson County, NC, the daughter of Marshall Goff and Violet Harris Goff. In addition to her parents Pam was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, and brother, Allan Goff.
. She moved to Burgaw, NC with her family when she was thirteen years old and attended Pender High School. Very studious and detail-oriented from a young age, Pam kept detailed records on the school bus she drove and volunteered as a front office assistant in high school. Pam moved to Orlando, Florida in her twenties and became very involved in Pine Hills Baptist Church. Always taking an interest in technology, she started the cassette tape ministry there. Pam frequently hosted her Sunday School class for fellowship at her house, making lifelong friends.
While in Orlando, Pam met her husband, Bob, and had her two daughters, Bethany and Mary. Pam moved back to Burgaw when her daughters were one and two years old. She went back to college full-time as a single mother and obtained a bachelor’s degree of Information Technology from UNC Wilmington. As her children grew up, Pam enjoyed her work as an IT Support Specialist and Database Manager at Smithfield Foods, and she started the IT ministry at Burgaw Baptist Church. Pam never failed to be generous with her gift in technology, helping church members with their personal computers and giving laptops to friends in need. Being interested in technology, she was blessed to live through the digital revolution and continued to embrace technology as it advanced faster than anyone could have imagined. Pam passed peacefully with her daughters by her side that day.
Pam is survived by her daughters, Bethany Maloney and Mary Maloney; and her granddaughter, Gracie.
