WILMINGTON — Jeffrey Kent Marshall, 41, of Wilmington, North Carolina, was called home to the Lord on May 25, 2026.
He was born on November 22, 1984, in Charlotte, NC. Jeff attended Charlotte Country Day School and Elon University, and went on to a long career with Verizon. He will be remembered for his caring spirit, humor, resilience, and courageous heart.
Jeff possessed a fearless spirit and sharp intellect that inspired many lively conversations. His quiet strength and kindness were a steadying presence to his family and many friends. He was so loved and will be deeply missed.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Julia Higgins Marshall; father and step-mother, Rob and Tobey Marshall; sister, Anna Brashear (Lee); two nephews; and his beloved partner, Gretchen Cross.
A private memorial will be held.
