WILMINGTON — James “Scotty” Thomson passed on April 9, 2026, at the age of 81 peacefully with his wife, Chellie Thomson, by his side. James was a resident of Wilmington, North Carolina.
He is survived by his 3 children, Brad Thomson, Adrienne Thomson and Heather Thomson and his grandaughter, Elizabeth Thomson, all of Wilmington.
Scotty worked 38 years at General Electric as a tool grinder until he retired.
