William “Bill” Power (Andrews Mortuary and Crematory)

WILMINGTON — William “Bill” Power peacefully transitioned to Heaven on March 27, 2026 in Wilmington, NC.

He boldly moved with his family from Venezuela to USA in 1977 and earned an Engineering MS from Northeastern University. After a forty-three-year career, he retired to North Carolina where alongside the love of his life, he witnessed their grandchildren grow into good men.

He valued conciseness, logic and efficiency; he is best described by words from his loved ones: He was Honorable and Decent.

A man of unwavering morals, the cornerstone of his family. Respected by anyone that knew him. A man of integrity; a beloved brother; a loyal friend. A brilliant engineer, avid problem solver and mentor to many. He never stopped learning.

The funeral mass is Friday, April 10th at 10:30 AM, St. Mark Catholic Church Wilmington, NC. A reception will follow in Parrish Hall.

Rather than flowers, donations can be made to Lower Cape Fear Life Care or to support STEM education for our youth.
