ROCKY POINT — Roger Leroy Renn, 76, of Rocky Point, NC and formerly of Florida and Buffalo, New York passed from his earthly life Sunday, March 22, 2026 at his home.
He was born November 23, 1949 in Streator, Illinois, the son of the late Alfred F. Renn and Sarah Barringer Renn.
Roger is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 31 years, Gail Renn; brother, Greg Renn and his wife, Jane; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family.
Roger served his country honorably in the US Army. After working 25 years Roger retired from Atlantic Filter Company.
Roger was a man of quiet thoughts but had a humorous personality when he did speak. He was an accomplished bowler always enjoying visits to a bowling alley. Roger was also an avid NASCAR fan. Gail and Roger together enjoyed feeding and watching the birds in their yard. Roger loved family, especially his wife, Gail, who was a bright light in his life.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
