WILMINGTON — Frederick “Rick” Michael Henriksen, age 77, of Wilmington and formerly of Tryon passed from his earthly life March 24, 2026 at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 5, 1948 in Charlotte, the son of the late Harold Eugene Henrikson and Catherine Holman Turner Henriksen.
Rick is survived by his wife of 51 years, Elizabeth “Lib” Tucker Henriksen; son, Harold Tucker Henriksen (Bonnie); grandchildren, Hadley Henriksen and Reed Henriksen; brother, Gene Henriksen; and sister, Phalbe Henriksen.
Rick was a noted pharmacist beginning his career in Wilmington and for many years owned Tryon Pharmacy in Tryon, NC. Several years ago, Rick and Lib retired, moving to Wilmington.
Following Rick’s request there will be no services at this time.
