Sheila used to sing with a band along with Diane Sanders and Yvonne Gaffney. The group would practice in family basements and performed at Uncle Sonny’s club on Ralph Avenue, Uncle Benny’s Club in New Jersey and other popular venues. Eventually everyone went their separate ways due to health and other reasons, but Sheila began singing solo. She spent most of her time raising her children and cultivating a strong home life. She was a kind soul who loved cooking, singing and just being available to her family. She was considered the neighborhood mom catering to anyone in need. Everyone knew who she was and could always count on her for comfort and companionship. She was loved by all who came in her path.
