SOUTHPORT — Mary Reaves Hewitt, age 85, of Southport, NC passed away Friday, February 6, 2026.
A celebration of Ms. Hewitt’s life took place Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 620 Clarendon Avenue, Southport, NC 28461.
Interment followed at John N. Smith Cemetery.
Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her children, Rose Hewitt-Walker (Melvin) of Navassa, NC and Elijah Hewitt III of Southport, NC; brother, Howard Delts of Leland, NC, 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 20 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
