Bobby grew up in the small town of Swansboro, NC, where he attended public school. He later attended “W.T. Casper University,” earning a master’s degree in life studies-a title that perfectly captured his wisdom, humor and practical knowledge.
He began his career at Uniflight building yachts then went on to attend trucking school in Georgia. Upon completion of trucking school, he worked at Johnson Beverage and then Jackson Beverage, where he dedicated 13 years of service. Bobby eventually found his long-term work family at MCO Transport, where he worked for nearly 30 years and was respected for his reliability, strong work ethic and friendship.
Bobby truly never met a stranger. He loved taking on new projects, especially woodworking, where his creativity and craftsmanship shined.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his love of The Price is Right game show, winning at Left Right Center, his friends, and most of all, his family.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to Hampstead Baptist Church.
