WILMINGTON — Pamela Dee Peeler, born January 5, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri, went home to be with her lord and savior on January 2, 2026, in Wilmington, North Carolina, just shy of her 80th birthday. She lived with her husband, Bud, at 133 Grainger Point Rd in Wilmington for over 42 beautiful years. Her life was a testament to love, kindness, and the power of family.
Pamela’s heart was as vast and warm as the oceans she adored, and her love extended well beyond her immediate family. She was an avid lover of cats, finding joy in their company and companionship. Her collection of cherished items reflected her appreciation for life’s many wonders and her ability to see beauty in the everyday.
Together with her loving husband of over 62 years, Gurney R. Peeler, they built a legacy of love that lives on in their three daughters, Sherri D. Blanchard, Melaney R. Peeler, and Amanda S. Peeler. Pamela also leaves behind her beloved sister, Paula G. Miller; three grandchildren, Justin Blanchard, Karissa Blanchard and Brandon Blanchard; and nine great-grandchildren who will continue to cherish her memory.
Her fur babies, Sampson and Simone, held special places in her heart, and they, too, are part of her loving legacy.
Pamela is preceded in death by her parents, Parke Davis Jones and Edna Pauline Willard; her brothers, Patrick L Jones and Parke D. Jones, Jr.; and her son-in-law, Charles (Chris) Blanchard.
Online condolences may be offered here.
