WILMINGTON — Henry Feith passed peacefully at age 78 in Wilmington NC, 11/6/2025.
Born in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY in 1947 in an apartment building. One of 18 siblings to his parents Herbert & Rose.
Surviving is an elder sister, Catherine Feith Emmart.
Henry was a loving husband, father, cherished grandfather and loyal friend whose quick wit & generous spirit will be deeply missed. Henry was a very proud US Army Infantry Vietnam Veteran serving 1965-1968 in Vietnam. Though was a city boy he was the soldier of the cycle at Fort Gordon GA.
He grew up on the city streets playing stickball, baseball, football, bowling, competitive swimming, (1964 Olympic trials), fishing and later in life golf, soccer, softball & hunting. As his family grew he coached many children sports & middle school football. He was always a supporter of the NY Giants & NY Yankees. He taught many of his family how to swim & play sports & UNO.
Henry was one of the best story tellers ever! Anybody, young and old, he ever spoke to knew he had a story. Generous with his time & stories.
He is survived by his wife Marie, of 55 years. Children, Timothy (Traci), Joseph (Kimberly) and Audrey Tomosunas (Eric). Grandfather to Emil, Zachary, Zoi, Rio, (step grandchildren Fowler & Austin DeBose). He was a member of St. Mark’s RC Catholic Church, Wilmington, NC.
