HAMPSTEAD — Wanda Suzanne Hamm Perry, born October 3, 1954, of Snow Hill, NC went to be with the Lord on August 27, 2025.
She was a graduate of Greene Central High School in Greene County. She worked all her life to provide a loving home for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Perry; her parents, Jesse and Sadie Hamm and her sisters, Patricia Hudson, Betty Robertson and Connie Hamm.
She is survived by her son, Bobby Jones; daughter-in-law, Karen Jones; grandson, Jason Jones and her loving dog, Jake.
Wanda loved her son and was always there for him. She loved her family and friends. She was extremely proud when her son finally gave her a grandson. She loved animals almost as much as her son and always had dogs and cats.
The family would like to extend appreciation to the Barlow Vista Baptist Church for their loving support. Thank you for welcoming her to our church and for always offering help. Most importantly, thank you for all your prayers.
Memorial services for Wanda will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Barlow Vista Baptist Church, 22340 US-17, Hampstead.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ASPCA and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
