WILMINGTON — Nicy Pigford Brown, age 95, of Wilmington, NC, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025.
A memorial service was held at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 11, 2025 at Davis Funeral Home – Wilmington, 901 S 5th Avenue, Wilmington, NC 28401.
Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her children, Gwendolyn Shaw and Alice B. Corbett both of Wilmington, NC, Tony M. George of Leland, NC, Janice George of Raleigh, NC, Jacqueline George of Wilmington, NC, Cathy George of Fayetteville, NC, Dewitt George, Jr. and Renee George both of Wilmington, NC; brother, Johnnie Pigford of Philadelphia, PA, 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
