WILMINGTON — Maria T. Carter, 71, of Wilmington, NC passed away on July 27, 2025.
She was born in Havana, Cuba on August 26, 1953, daughter of Delores Hernandez and Alberto Garcia. Maria is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Lee Carter.
She is survived by her brother, Albert Denis; sister-in-law, Reina Denis; cousins, Magaly Chiprut and David Chiprut as well as her beloved stepchildren and the entire Carter family. We will miss her dearly and will love her always.
Services will be private.
