WILMINGTON — Kimberly Andrews Wells passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 27, 2025. Kim was surrounded by love, family, and friends at the time of her death.
She was born on March 10, 1954, in Greensboro, NC; daughter of the late Michael and Betty Andrews. She was a nurse by trade, but a mother by heart to her family, friends, and the patients she cared for. Kim had endless, unconditional love for her husband, kids, grandkids and everyone lucky enough to be part of her life.
Kim leaves her husband, William “Billy” Wells; brothers and their spouses, Michael Andrews (Mickey) (Rosemary), and Phillip Andrews (Frances); children: Katie Rutherford, Kristian Rutherford, Brent Wells, Matthew Wells (Rachel); grandchildren: Carson Garner, Betty Garner, Charlotte Wells, Savannah Wells, Madison Wells, Austin Wells, Wynn Wells and several nieces and nephews: Jake Andrews, Reston Andrews, James Andrews, Wilson and Allie Andrews, Corry Andrews, Joe Andrews, Mark Andrews, Cutler Andrews, Bridget Andrews and Delphine Andrews.
