WILMINGTON — Matthew J. Haskins, age 33, of Wilmington, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025.
A celebration of Matthew’s life will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S 5th Ave., Wilmington, NC 28401. A viewing will be held one (1) hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery.
His love and memories will remain in the hearts of his parents, Marvin Haskins and Betty Shaw both of Wilmington; son, Malachi Turner of Wilmington; son’s mother, Brittany Turner of Wilmington; siblings, Marcus Barnett, John Shaw, Marvin Singleton and Myia Barnett all of Wilmington and Cortney Haskell of Washington, DC; paternal grandmother, Annie Haskins; maternal grandparents, Joe L. Barnett and Dorothy Barnett of Wilmington; significant other, Savannah Jacocks of Wilmington; mentor, Attorney Tina Richardson of Wilmington; special friends, Joseph (L’l Joe) Fennell, Shamauri Mishoe, Jamar Smith, Albert Henry, Dominique Smith all of Wilmington and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
