WILMINGTON — Diane Canty Scott, age 70, of Wilmington, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025.
A public viewing was held on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at Davis Funeral Home – Wilmington, 901 South 5th Avenue, Wilmington, NC 28401.
A celebration of Mrs. Scott’s life was conducted on Monday, July 21, 2025 at New Covenant Holiness Church, 1020 Dawson Street, Wilmington, NC 28401.
Interment followed at Calvary Memorial Cemetery.
Her love and memories will remain in the heart of her husband, Wilbur Scott of the home; children, Robert Canty (LeVonne) of Winnsboro, SC, John Canty (Crystal) and Darrell Washington both of Wilmington, NC, James Washington of Cayce, SC and Wilbur Green of Wilmington, NC; siblings, Freddie Canty and Ronald Lee Canty both of Wilmington, NC, 23 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
