WILMINGTON — It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Ray ” Little” Henry, who departed this life on July 18, 2025, in Wilmington, North Carolina, at the age of 72. Born on April 18, 1953, Daniel lived a life full of dedication to family and work.
Daniel was a man who took pride in his work as a plumber, dedicating many years to the trade. He was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family. Outside of work, he found great joy in tending to his yard and cherished the simple pleasures that life offered. He was an avid football and golf enthusiast, often spending weekends enjoying games with family and friends.
Above all, Daniel was devoted to his family. He deeply loved his children and grandchildren, taking immense pride in their accomplishments and cherishing every moment spent with them. His beloved pet companion, Misty, held a special place in his heart and brought him constant joy and companionship.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Richard Henry and Doris Rae Close, as well as his brothers, Robert Earl Henry and Carl Keith Henry.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 37 years, Barbara B. Henry; his children, Danny Keith Henry of Wilmington, Joseph William Wilkerson and wife Terssa of Leland, NC, David Allan Biszmaier and wife Tammy of Sheboygan, WI, Steven Anthony Biszmaier, and Kenneth Allan Biszmaier, both of Wilmington. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many other cherished family members.
A time of gathering to honor Daniel’s life will be held from 5 to 6 PM on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Wilmington Funeral and Cremation Service, located at 1535 South 41st Street, Wilmington, North Carolina 28403. Family and friends are invited to come and share their memories.
