HAMPSTEAD — Vickie Joyce Schultz Ford, 87, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025.
Mrs. Vickie Ford was born September 19, 1937 in Kankakee, IL to Edward Douglas Schultz and Sophie Irene Murphy Schultz.
She married Lloyd Wayne Ford in 1954 and was a 1955 graduate of Eldorado Township High School. She was a dedicated homemaker, seamstress, and served as Pastor‘s wife from 1978 through 2008; as well as serving as church pianist and Preschool Sunday School teacher and educator all throughout her life for many different churches. During 1978-1990 she worked full-time as an Executive Administrative Secretary for the Arthur Anderson Training Center, St. Charles, Illinois. In 2024, Lloyd and Vicki were blessed to celebrate their 70 years of marriage.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Douglas Schultz and Sophie Irene Murphy Schultz; her sister, Valera King, and her aunt, Margaret Murphy.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Wayne Ford; three daughters: Lynn Pagano (Tom), of Hampstead, NC, Janie Morton (Randy), of Pineville, MO, and Betsy Weisel (Doug), of Baxley, GA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and three nephews.
A memorial service has been planned for a later date at Hampstead, Baptist Church, Hampstead, NC.
