Bloodworth and together they raised four children: Felicia Bloodworth-Hooper of Tampa, FL., Terry Bloodworth Jr. (Vashti), Laqunas (Layla) Bloodworth, and Travis Bloodworth all of Wilmington, NC. He later remarried and built a second loving family with his wife Donna F. Bloodworth, with whom he had two children: Okoy’e Bloodworth of Philadelphia, PA and Jasmine Bloodworth of Raleigh, NC. They were all his pride and joy.
Terry was the kind of person who made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was generous to a fault, always willing to help, listen, or simply brighten your day. His big heart and warm spirit made him a friend to many. He also had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether he was fishing off the pier, hunting in the woods, or camping under the stars, Terry felt most at peace surrounded by nature.
Terry was preceded in death by his father James Bloodworth Sr. and his brother James Bloodworth Jr. Terry is survived by his loving mother, Pauline Walker Bloodworth; his siblings Stephen “Wayne” Bloodworth (Natalie), Angel McKoy, Tony Bloodworth (Barbara), and Carol Bloodworth; his six children, 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved him dearly.
He will be remembered as a devoted family man, a proud Marine, a gifted chef, and someone who truly lived with heart. His love and legacy will live on through all those whose lives he touched.
The apple and the snake took our paradise away. Now we’re using the apples to pay the snakes told us it’s ok/the new way. No way Jose’! I’ll stick with Jesus because if Jose’ is Hose then Jesus Hesus (he’s us). So I trust we get our tithes and offerings flowing accordingly. So the currency that we see, flows you to me constantly multiplied by three. WAIT wouldn’t that be frequency
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home, 315 Willow Woods Dr, Wilmington, NC 28409.
